CONTINUING EDUCATION – Our Continuing Education Initiative provides informational presentations, seminars and summits designed to keep clinicians and other medical professionals up-to-date on various public and community health topics. These may include but are not limited to policy briefs and/or updates; statistical data on current epidemics; and diagnosis, treatment, and symptom management of various disease processes.
PROVIDER CAPACITY WORKGROUP – The Provider Capacity Workgroup includes clinicians from Barton Health, Marshall Medical Center, El Dorado Community Health Center, El Dorado Healthy and Human Services Agency and Shingle Springs Wellness Center. The workgroup meets monthly and provides clinical expertise and perspective to identify gaps in healthcare and support development of a system of care for vulnerable populations.
COMMUNITY EDUCATION SERIES

The El Dorado Coalition for Overdose Prevention & Education hosts a bi-monthly educational speaker series on the ongoing challenges of substance use.
Join us in making the case to help break through the barriers of stigma and better understand the complexity of substance use. The first few topic focuses on recovery. However, the topics will expand upon related issues with a variety of speakers.
