

CONTINUING EDUCATION – Our Continuing Education Initiative provides informational presentations, seminars and summits designed to keep clinicians and other medical professionals up-to-date on various public and community health topics. These may include but are not limited to policy briefs and/or updates; statistical data on current epidemics; and diagnosis, treatment, and symptom management of various disease processes.
PROVIDER CAPACITY WORKGROUP – The Provider Capacity Workgroup includes clinicians from Barton Health, Marshall Medical Center, El Dorado Community Health Center, El Dorado Healthy and Human Services Agency and Shingle Springs Wellness Center. The workgroup meets monthly and provides clinical expertise and perspective to identify gaps in healthcare and support development of a system of care for vulnerable populations.

988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Free and Confidential peer support for the LGBTQ and questioning community ages 25 and younger. Provides a safe and anonymous space where callers can speak on concerns including, coming out issues, gender and/or sexuality identities, relationship concerns, bullying, isolation, anxiety at school, family issues, HIV/AIDS concerns, safer sex information, and suicide.
