

CONTINUING EDUCATION – Our Continuing Education Initiative provides informational presentations, seminars and summits designed to keep clinicians and other medical professionals up-to-date on various public and community health topics. These may include but are not limited to policy briefs and/or updates; statistical data on current epidemics; and diagnosis, treatment, and symptom management of various disease processes.
PROVIDER CAPACITY WORKGROUP – The Provider Capacity Workgroup includes clinicians from Barton Health, Marshall Medical Center, El Dorado Community Health Center, El Dorado Healthy and Human Services Agency and Shingle Springs Wellness Center. The workgroup meets monthly and provides clinical expertise and perspective to identify gaps in healthcare and support development of a system of care for vulnerable populations.
ABOUT US
Formed in 2004, ACCEL is the longest-standing community-wide collaborative of public and private partners working together to improve the health and well-being of El Dorado County's vulnerable populations. Over the years, ACCEL partners have created systematic changes to help strengthen our safety net system, and transform the way we deliver care. ACCEL partners include Marshall Medical, Barton Health, El Dorado Community Health Center (FQHC), Shingle Springs Health and Wellness (Tribal Clinic) and El Dorado County Health and Human Services Agency (Public Health & Behavioral Divisions).
